Fast Check-in & Check-out

With the aim of offering a more convenient and faster service, we encourage guests to use online check-in to speed up and simplify the procedure. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive an email the day before your arrival so that you can register yourself. The classic check-in at the counter is however active.

Check-in time: from 15.30 (3.30 pm) to 21.30 (9.30 pm)
Check-out time: by 10.30 (10.30 am)

Ticino Ticket

Upon check in, you will receive - free of charge - the Ticino Ticket, a pass allowing you to use the public transport in total freedom throughout the region; you will also get discounts for ski lifts, boats, entrance to museums and for the access to the main tourist attractions in Canton Ticino.

High-Speed Wi-Fi

At the GuestHouse Lugano Center you can always count on high-speed Wi-Fi, available 24 hours a day for free in rooms and public areas.

Free self-service laudry and ironing

Guests can have free access to the self-service laundry and ironing area in the dedicated room located on the ground floor. The service is available from 9.00 to 19 (9 am to 7 pm).

Bike garage e maintenance

Certified as a "Bike Friendly" structure, the GuestHouse Lugano Center is the ideal place to enjoy cycling holidays. Our guests can make free use of a garage for bicycles, where they can also do basic maintenance, recharge electric bikes, and even take a shower. An external courtyard is also available for bikers to wash their bicycles; inside the GuestHouse, free self-service laundry-ironing room is available for washing clothes when returning from bike tours.

Library cabin for book crossing

Do you like reading and traveling with your imagination? Have a call at our Library Cabin, choose the book you like, read it in total relax in our GuestHouse - or, if you prefer, along the lake whilst admiring the splendid landscape comfortably sitting on a bench by the shores of Lake Ceresio - then bring it back once finished! If you don't have enough time to finish your reading it because you have to resume your journey, you can take it with you and leave it in the library cabin of the next destination of your vacation.

Snack corner

Any time of the day, while comfortably sitting in our welcoming common area - guests can enjoy a quick snack or breakfast in the snack corner on the ground floor, available in the vending machines.

Ticket and business corner

During reception opening hours, from 8.30 to 12.30 and from 15.30 to 21.30, you can contact our staff to book and print tickets for sports events and shows in Ticino, as well as travel or work files.

Taxi services

Our customers can use the taxi service (subject to fee) to and from the nearest airports, but also for other needs and travel purposes.

Luggage Storage

The GuestHouse offers a storage (available until 9 pm) where you can leave your luggage after check-out if you want to make the most of your holiday around Ticino.
