The Lugano Center GuestHouse is located in Via Calloni, 2 in Lugano, a few steps away from the city centre, from the evocative promenade on Lake Ceresio, and from the fabulous Florida Park with a breath-taking view of Lake Lugano. Due to its strategic position, the residence is particularly suitable for those who like moving around by public transport; the railway station and the bus stops - for reaching the different areas of the city- are located nearby.

How to reach us

A few minutes from the Lugano Nord motorway

By car

The Lugano Center GuestHouse is easily reachable in a few minutes from the motorway. Travelling along the A2 motorway, take the Lugano Sud exit, turn left at the first traffic light, reach the next traffic light and you will see the GuestHouse on your left. If you are travelling from abroad, we remind you that the toll sticker (valid throughout Switzerland for one year) is mandatory and you must apply it on your windscreen. The sticker can be purchased at the Customs at the cost of 40 CHF.

By train

If you love walking and have light luggage, you can reach us on foot from the main train station (about 15 minutes) along via Clemente Maraini. Alternatively, you can easily take a taxi or catch bus n° 2 towards Loreto, then get off at the Santa Birgitta stop, located a few metres ahead of the GuestHouse.

Parking facilities

Parking places near the GuestHouse are available on the blue lines (one hour maximum with parking disc during the day, free in the evening) in via Cassarinetta and in via Giuseppe Mazzini; white lines are also available (with fee during the day and free in the evening) in via Calloni in front of the GuestHouse, behind the bus stop.

For check-in, check-out and for loading/unloading luggage, the first car park on via Alla Valletta is available to our customers (15 minutes maximum). Upon check-in, the reception staff will give you more information on parking facilities for free (or with fee) during your stay.
